The Nearness of You by Ella & Louis

No offense to Norah Jones, but I prefer Ella and Louis any day.

To my 18 followers, I’ve been hella busy. My bad. I will attempt to update at least once a week. I’ve been neglectful…

Happy Wednesday

It’s a genuinely pretty day. I woke up this afternoon and the first thing I did was check the color of the sky. A clear powder blue as opposed to the steely gray of the last few days. I loved the storm that accompanied the gloomy sky, but this is much better. This is one of the reasons I am so inclined to attend graduate school at Stanford - the weather!

Anyway, the weather today has inspired me to clean (when am I NOT cleaning?), open windows, light candles, and turn up the jazz! I am really feeling instrumental today. Someone once told me, “Music expresses that which words cannot”. This amazing woman is very right. Less words, more brass.
